Chelsea Football Club - also known as Chelsea FC or The Blues for the locals in the English speaking countries who love their soccer and football games played on a lush green lawn with bouncing balls for players to chase. The club was founded in 1905 by John "Cappy" Mears (of Cappy's Restaurant fame) when he brought together two other men: Charles Kilty and George Hilsinger Jr., both of whom were members of the Walthamstow Assembly Ground before becoming the club's founding fathers , now known throughout Europe by its Germanic name "FC Chelseate Hotspurs".
The home kit color is blue which has made Chelsea a popular team in England. They are currently fifth in the English league title list and have won a total of five league titles so far - you could say they are number 1 when it comes to that! But what really sets them apart from other teams? Aside from being known as 'the blues' (which also happens to be pronounced 'bee'), they have won three European Cups; two wins with different trophies: the 2012 AND 2021 Champions League and the 2013 European Cup Winners' Cup. These prestigious competitions make CFC one of only four clubs to have won all three major European club competitions to date.
