History and description

The stadium has a capacity of 12,000 and is currently home to Ross County FC. Ross County FC play their home games in Global Energy Stadium. The Global Energy Stadium, better known as Victoria Park, was built in 1929 at the same time when Ross County got formed out of predecessor Dingwall Victors. The stadium has a capacity of 12,000 and is currently home to Ross County FC. Ross County FC play their home games in the Global Energy Stadium. Victoria Park has remained a very modest ground with a record crowd of 8,000 reported for a Scottish Cup match against Rangers in 1966.

In 2012, when the club promoted to the Scottish Premier League, Victoria Park could only hold 2,700 spectators. This meant that it had to get an expanded all-seater stand built behind the goal and the east stand got extended over the entire side.

At the same time, the stadium got renamed Global Energy Stadium.

How to get to Global Energy Stadium

The Global Energy Stadium is located in Dingwall, Scotland. It is roughly 13 miles north of Inverness. The stadium is located east of the town centre and local rail station. It is a 5-minute walk from the station or high street to the stadium.

There are direct trains connecting Dingwall with Inverness. Trains run from twice an hour to once every two to three hours depending on the time of the day and the day of the week. You can check timetables here. The journey takes about thirty minutes.

Buses can be an alternative for travelling between Dingwall and Inverness. Bus 25, 27, and 28 connect these two destinations.

Ross County Tickets

Tickets for Ross County games can be bought [at] the club shop at Victoria Park. Tickets can also be bought on the day at the stadium. Ross County generally doesn't sell out save for the odd high-profile match.

The ticket price for the Jailend behind the goal is £20.00, while the price for all other stands is £24.00. Prices are increased by £2.00 for high-profile games.
