History and description

The stadium is located in the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. FC Krasnodar Stadium is a recently opened new home of FC Krasnodar, which previously shared Stadion Kuban with Kuban Krasnodar. The stadium is located in the Krasnodar Krai region of Russia. The first plans for the new stadium were made in 2011 and it didn't take long for these to materialize in more concrete ones. Building works started in 2013 and were completed in the second half of 2016.

On 9 October 2016, the FC Krasnodar Stadium officially opened with a friendly international between Russia and Costa Rica.

How to get to FC Krasnodar Stadium

The Krasnodar Stadium is located east of the city, on the eastern edge of the city. It is roughly 5 kilometers east of Krasnaya Street and Teatralnaya Square. Krasnodar's main rail station, located further south, is roughly 5.5 kilometers away.

The stadium can be reached by bus 45, which runs along Oktyabrskaya street (along parallel to Krasnaya) and along Svernaya street (a few blocks north from Teatralnaya Square). Bus 45 also passes the main railway station.

Eat, drink, and sleep near Krasnodar Stadium

The FC Krasnodar Stadium is located on the outskirts of Krasnodar, adjacent to a residential neighborhood and a new development of apartment blocks. While there are occasional local cafes, the area is not of great interest and eating and drinking is better done in the city center of Krasnodar?. There are no large hotels close to Krasnodar Stadium, but there are quite a few apartment rentals and small B&Bs to choose from. Slightly further away, a 15-minute walk, there are some decent options like Romeo and Juliet Hotel, Carat Hotel, and Marton Amigo Hotel.

If you have more time, and want to explore Krasnodar's center instead of staying near the outskirts, you may want to consider finding a hotel in central Krasnodar. There are many options, including some well-known chain hotels like Hilton and Ibis. Click here for more information.

Prices for tickets range from 150 rubles (around $2) for a seat behind the goal to 500 rubles (around $8) for a central upper-tier seat. Prices increase somewhat for the home match against Spartak.
