OGC Nice

The club from the city of Nice, which has existed since 1904, also had its football department in 1908. It merged with the Gallia Football Athlétic Club but kept its original name - the OGC became known as the Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice Côte d'Azur! The team colors are black/red because the clubs wanted different colors and therefore had to mix during the competitions. Nowadays it's better because everyone can see what result is being achieved without too much confusion.

The first team to play at the Stade du Ray has won 3 French cups and 4 championships there. They relocated after years of playing near two other stadiums also used by multiple teams, so the Stade du Ray could be transformed into a fabulous venue for all football fans!
