History and description

El Coloso is the largest stadium in the state of Aguascalientes and it holds up to 47,850 people. The Estadio Victoria, nicknamed El Coloso de la Colonia Héroes, was built after Necaxa moved from Mexico City to make Aguascalientes their new home. El Coloso is the largest stadium in the state of Aguascalientes and it can house up to 47,850 people. The opening of the stadium took place on July 26, 2003 with a friendly match between Necaxa and Chivas.

The stadium has a sponsor name that is named after one of Grupo Modelo's, the Mexican brewer, beers.

How to get to Estadio Victoria

The Estadio Victoria is located in the east of the city of Aguascalientes at 2.1 kilometers from its historic centre. The historic centre is approximately a thirty minute walk from the centre of town or you can inquire locally about appropriate bus routes.

To buy Necaxa tickets online, customers can visit Stubhub. Necaxa tickets can be bought at the ticket windows of Estadio Victoria in Aguascalientes or at the club store at Altaria shopping mall in the north of Aguascalientes.
